Pastor Otis and Evangelist Laura Pickett began their ministry in 1986 out of a commission to spread the gospel through Preaching, Teaching and Singing. Pastor Pickett is currently the Pastor of Destiny Faith Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and Evangelist Laura serves as Co-Pastor were they, "Build People of Faith to Fulfill Their Destiny". They also minister through workshops, seminars, Bible studies and other outreach efforts committed to demonstrate and teach the life-changing Word of God.

Otis O. Pickett Jr.  is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina, where he was President of the Senior Class and served as the Chairman of the Judiciary Commission. Pastor Pickett also received a Masters in Divinity from Gammon Theological Seminary of the Interdenominational Theological Center. Pastor Pickett began his ministry as the Assistant Pastor at Ben Hill United Methodist Church from 1985-1987. He was the pastor at Warren Chapel United Methodist Church in Commerce, Georgia from 1987-1991 and at Capitol View United Methodist Church from 1991-2009. He is a member of the Concerned Black Clergy, the Community Affairs Ministry Program - C.A.M.P., and the Atlanta Interfaith Health Ministry Council, as well as a supporter of many other organizations.

Laura Pickett is a native of Georgia, a graduate of Spelman College, a teacher and preacher of the Word of God, a psalmist, a songwriter and an author. In 1998, Laura received recognition as Atlanta Gospel Choice Best Female Vocalist for "I Give You Praise," a music recording with, The Capitol View Voices of Praise. She wrote and co-produced several songs on this project.  Laura is president and co-founder along with her husband of Pickett Outreach Ministries, Inc. a ministry motivated out of Hosea 4:6, which says "My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge". She and her husband have written a book entitled, "Married Life or Married Life Sentence". She has also authored other books entitled, "Faith Coming versus Now Faith", "Withholding & Releasing Your Blessing", "It's Time to Bring Forth" and her newly released book, "You Will Win In The End".

Pastor Otis and Evangelist Laura Pickett have been married since 1983 and are the proud parents of three children Reginald, Tracey, and Ashlee'. They both have been tailored by God to bring healing, restoration, and hope to marriage and family relations through their ministry.
